A Bit of Everything

I debated on what to call this post and settled on the title as it will encompass a few different things. :-)

I've been trying to keep the kids busy during the day so they don't make me too crazy.  Before Rob goes to work I check my email and the kids come up to see my zoo on Facebook.  We look at all the animals and I tell them what their names are and where they are from.  They think it's pretty cool.  After he leaves we have some play time, snack time, then go for a 25-30 minute walk usually down to Le Vieux Port to look at the boats and back, then have lunch, play more, then nap and Rob's usually home around the time they wake up.  As the days go by and they begin to behave more, I'm slowly losing the desire to sell them to the gypsies.  I'll let you know how that progresses...hehehehehe.

Today after nap (Molly's nap, as Angus didn't have one) we walked for about 30 minutes to Le Pharo, which is a park, not far past Le Vieux Port.  Up the hill, there is a little playground where we met another mom from the expats meetup and her daughter.  The kids had fun together, Molly has a new best friend, and Palmyre and I had a good time talking and getting to know one another.  We stayed for a little over an hour, then headed back home.

Starting next Tuesday we're going to be doing a bit of traveling.  Not all at once but in little bits here and there.  Tuesday evening we leave for England where we'll be spending three weeks.  Rob has got some friends there and we're going to stay with them (just for a few days) before moving on to a hotel and a different part.  All in all, we'll be visiting Birmingham, Bristol, and Plymouth.

After that the traveling goes something like this:

February: Provided all things go well with the negotiations Rob will be going back to Arizona for about a week near the end of February to work on a project with Alcon.  Granted it will be interesting to see how things go here with him there, but we've discussed the pros and cons, and the pros definitely win out.

March: we'll be heading back over to the UK to visit Scotland for one of Rob's conferences.  If I remember correctly it is near St. Andrews.

April: In the early part we'll be heading to Paris and visiting EuroDisney for Angus' 4th birthday (really, 4 already?  *le sigh*)  then the end of April we'll be going to Madrid, Spain for a few days as one of Rob's co-workers at the University invited us for a visit.

May:  Okay, so we're not going anywhere in May but we've got some friends coming to visit.  One visit in the early part, the other in the latter part.

June: In early June we'll be going up the coast a bit (near the French Riviera) for a conference Rob will be attending.  Then, as you all know, we will be coming back to AZ at the end of the month.

So as you can see, we'll be able to enjoy a bit more of Europe than just France, which we're all excited about.  Us about the traveling, Angus about the prospect of new toys, and both kids about EuroDisney.

Love to all!!
